Compliance Administration Coordinator

Purpose of the Role

The Compliance Administration Coordinator will work alongside our compliance, procurement and production teams to develop the best products for our market. You will be involved in ensuring that all products comply to safety standards and legislation.

Main responsibilities

  • Overseeing and coordinating technical files, ensuring all documentation is in place, ensuring data is logged correctly on Dynamics (operating system), highlighting and resolving any gaps
  • Managing and being the main point of contact for customer-specific testing (i.e. submitting documentation, communication with lab and internal teams, ensuring deadlines are met)
  • Ownership of a portion of titles on the publishing plan, giving advice on labelling and test requirements ahead of production (with the support of the Compliance and Sustainability Manager) and input into Dynamics
  • Project managing and monitoring own titles from initial safety review to completion of testing ahead of shipment; working closely with Production team to check project status
  • Reporting to Compliance and Sustainability Manager on schedule status for selected titles and highlighting risks
  • Assisting with completing safety assessments
  • Liaising with external consultants alongside the Compliance and Sustainability Manager and supporting with safety reviews, ensuring feedback is given to relevant team members
  • Responding to queries internally (sales, production, publishing) and externally from customers and suppliers
  • Supporting the Sales and Procurement team with visibility of test cost ahead of raising Purchase Orders for finished products
  • Gathering, logging and maintaining information on customer-specific requirements, ensuring changes are communicated to relevant teams
  • Monitoring Compliance inbox to ensure adequate filing of test reports, BOM (Bill of materials) and declarations of conformity from suppliers
  • Monthly reporting on safety testing spend

Skills & Experience

  • Flexible and adaptable to the growing demands of an expanding business
  • Experience with product compliance (desirable but not essential)
