Shipping Administrator
Purpose of the Role
To be part of a collaborative team, working to maintain strong customer relationships across Key Accounts whilst providing administrative support to the Operations, Sales and Shipping team.
Main responsibilities
- Providing excellent administrative and Customer Service support to a range of accounts around the World.
- You will be processing orders, responding to queries, ensuring customer requirements are adhered to and maintaining key customer relationships.
- Liaising with third party suppliers to enable us to deliver on time, always
- Day to day communication with third party Freight Forwarders, booking shipments, preparing and handling shipping documents.
- General administrative duties including, but not limited to, handling emails, raising invoices, checking paperwork and input of data.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum C grade in GCSE English and Maths
- Computer literate with good Excel skills
- Experience within an administrative/customer service role is preferred
- Proactive self starter with ability to manage a substantial workload
- Confidence and a good communicator
- Initiative, honesty and integrity
- Positive can-do attitude within a fast-changing environment
- A Team Player
