Packaging & Marketing Designer 

Purpose of the Role

Bring children’s products to life as a Mid-weight Packaging & Marketing Designer!

Do you love creating packaging that pops on shelf and tells a brand story? We’re looking for a Mid-weight Brand & Packaging Designer to join our in-house studio, designing packaging and branding across toys, books, and crafts.

Main Responsibilities

  • Designing packaging concepts and brand assets across multiple product ranges.
  • Working with product, editorial, and marketing teams to make sure packaging fits strategy and audience.
  • Translating creative direction into designs that excite children and reassure parents.
  • Maintaining brand consistency across formats and SKUs.
  • Designing POS, FSDUs, and retail marketing assets.
  • Creating visuals for campaigns, launches, and events.
  • Supporting marketing with presentations, trade show graphics, and social media visuals.
  • Expanding brand identity systems with the Creative Director and Senior Brand Designer.
  • Be aware of industry trends and the competitive landscape, to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Comfortably manage several projects, ensuring creative ideas are delivered smoothly and on schedule.
  • Prepare design files for artwork and production.
  • To ensure full compliance with the company Health & Safety policy

Skills & Experience

  • Typically 3–5 years’ experience in brand or packaging design, POS/FSDU – or transferable skills with a portfolio that shows your creativity.
  • A portfolio with packaging and branding projects (children’s sector experience is a plus, but not essential).
  • Adobe Creative Suite skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of sustainable packaging, motion graphic, video editing or social asset design is a bonus.

This role is based in our Bath office. Please be based in the UK and within commuting distance of Bath.
