At Curious Universe, we are dedicated to making a positive impact in our community, and giving back in whatever way we can. Each year, our passionate team has the opportunity to nominate a charity close to their hearts, and through a collective vote, our 2025 charity is Bath Cats & Dogs home. They have shared their approach with us to help highlight their work.

Here at Bath Cats and Dogs home we believe every cat and dog should enjoy a healthy life and a happy home. through advice and support in our community, to rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming at our centre, we positively transform the lives of pets.

Education - Reaching the next generation of pet owners, our education programme gives pet care advice and opens the discussion about animal welfare. 

Outreach - Pets are often best kept with their owners, so we provide financial support, stock food banks and provide health checks for pets of those on low incomes or vulnerably housed.

Rescue - We are often the only place a neglected, abused, or unwanted cat or dog can go to, because of our open intake policy and professional relationships with Council Dog Wardens and RSPCA inspectors for our region.

Rehabilitation - Welfare and kindness are key to our Transformation Programme, run with collaboration between our veterinary, Behaviour and Animal Care teams.

Rehoming - With in-depth assessments, we carefully match each animal to adopters to ensure the best success for their new beginning.
